Since our humble beginnings in a single room back in 1982, we have blossomed into a vibrant network of two joyful preschool campuses nestled across Bangalore. With nearly four decades of nurturing young minds, we have gained profound insights into the intricacies of childhood learning. Remaining attuned to the pulse of progress, we continuously refine our teaching methods, adapting to evolving needs and integrating essential life skills into our pedagogy.
Vidyasagar Preschool (VSP) serves as a second home, nurturing young minds into conscientious citizens. Our ethos revolves around providing pastoral care and equipping students for their educational journey. At the heart of our approach lies a focus on nurturing each student unique identity, as we firmly believe that self-awareness and confidence stem from a strong sense of self. Dr. Dayananda Pai is a prominent educationist, philanthropist and leading real estate developer in Bengaluru. Apart from being the Managing Trustee of VSEG, Dr. Pai is also the Board Trustee of B.M.S. College as well as Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, and a Trustee of Karnataka Chitrakala Parishad. He is also the syndicate member of Manipal University and the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal. He has served as the former syndicate member of Mangalore University. Dr. Pai has been awarded the Karnataka Udyog Award, the Karnataka Rajyotsava Award and the Aryabhatta Award for initiatives involving social and charitable activities. He was conferred an Honorary Doctorate by Mangalore University for his exceptional contribution in the field of education and philanthropy.

Dr. Kiran Pai (Ed.D.) is the Co-founder and Pro-Chancellor of Vidyashilp University. She is also the Director of three prominent schools in Bengaluru, India - Vidyashilp Academy, Vidyashilp School and Vidyasagar Preschool. Dr. Pai is a trained Educational Psychologist with expertise in Instructional Design. She earned her Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) in Organizational Change and Leadership and her Masters in Education in Learning Design and Technology (M.Ed. LDT) at the Rossier School of Education, University of Southern California, USA. She was recently awarded the prestigious 2021 Doctoral Distinction Award in recognition of her scholarly work. She is also the recipient of the 2020 Honors from the U.S. based Kappa Delta Pi International Society in Education, which acknowledges only the top 20 percent of prominent International scholars in the field. She was the recipient of the 50 Innovative Leaders award in India by the World Education Congress and Prof. Indira Parikh. Dr. Pai undertook most of her professional training in educational leadership at Harvard University, Boston and IIM Ahmedabad. Dr. Pai is a member of the American Education Research Association (AERA) and the American Psychological Association (APA).

Meet Ms. Shilpa Pai, the Director of Vidyasagar Preschool. Her journey with Vidyasagar began with a wealth of experience in administration & strategy. Her leadership has propelled academic and administrative excellence, resulting in substantial infrastructural enhancements and numerous accolades, including VSPH's consistent ranking among India's top preschools. Ms. Shilpa is dedicated to shaping the school's vision and enhancing academic performance across all domains. She plays a pivotal role in developing strategic plans to ensure that our educational programs and teaching quality meet the highest standards.
